Ways to give back this #GivingTuesday on Facebook
It's that time of year again! A time to be grateful for all that we have and give back to the causes and communities we care about most. That's what #GivingTuesday is all about -- a national day of giving to kick off the giving season and get us in the holiday spirit.
This year, in celebration of #GivingTuesday on November 28th, Facebook and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are teaming up to match up to $2 million in donations.
Donations to nonprofits made through Facebook’s charitable giving tools on November 28th can be matched up to $50,000 per nonprofit or $1,000 per fundraiser or donate button, until the $2 million in matching funds run out. Click here to learn more.

We've already started to see the Facebook community come together for Giving Tuesday in powerful ways to support the causes they care about — from Emily in California who is fundraising to provide prom dresses to teens who couldn't otherwise afford them to Jill in New Jersey who is fundraising for pediatric cancer research in her son's memory.
Giving back to our communities is important at Facebook, and we're excited to see all the good we can do together this year on #GivingTuesday.
