BEN & JERRY’S TO PHISH FANS: STEP INTO THE FREEZER
“Freezer Reprise” to Mark 13-Night Run at Madison Square Garden
So. Burlington, VT, July 13th, 2017 – Ben & Jerry’s fellow neighbors from Vermont, Phish, are gearing up to kick off a historic 13-night run of shows — dubbed the “The Baker’s Dozen” — at Madison Square Garden in New York City. What better way to celebrate the twenty-year partnership with Phish, than to honor the band with a new very Limited Batch donut-themed ice cream flavor: Freezer Reprise.
The flavor is a sweet cream ice cream with a vanilla glaze, chocolate donut swirl, chocolate donut pieces, and fudge fish. It will be available at the opening night of the run, July 21st, at an event adjacent to Madison Square Garden at the Pennsy from 4-8pm. The event is open to the public where samples of Freezer Reprise will be available. Also on hand will be The WaterWheel Foundation, Phish’s charitable organization as well as HeadCount who will be registering voters Freezer Reprise will also be available on August 5th at a special webcast of the concert Burlington, VT. Start making plans because this flavor won’t last long!
To make the celebration a little sweeter, Ben & Jerry’s has partnered with artist Jim Pollock to create a limited edition flavor t-shirt. This t-shirt will be available for a limited time at The WaterWheel Foundation during the July 21st event, as well as at benjerry.com/store. “With this 13 night run at MSG, Phish is reaching a milestone that very few musicians ever have. As big fans of Phish and the community they have created, we wanted to do something extra special. What could be better than a delicious new flavor and fun tee shirt designed by a fantastic illustrator,” said Senior Global Marketing Manager Jay Curley. All proceeds from donations for the flavor and sales of the limited edition t-shirt will benefit The WaterWheel Foundation.
