A short film starring famous Monkey King actor Liu Xiao Ling Tong has gone viral on Facebook. Liu Xiao Ling Tong starred in the 1986 television series Journey to the West, playing the role of Dasheng (Sun Wukong), a mythological figure who is a monkey born from a stone and has superpower. The character is often regarded as the Chinese version of Superman. Journey to the West made an instant stir among audiences and became a classic in China.
The video, with Nurul Elfira Loy's English translation, is an authentic retelling of backstage story of Journey to the West.
