In addition to being the former daughter-in-law of the late Los Angeles Lakers’ owner, Jerry Buss, Christy Curtis Buss, www.ChristyCBuss.com, is the choreographer for NBC’s “Days of Our Lives.” In addition, she choreographed for the LeAnn Rimes Tour, NBC’s “Passions,” the “Dian Diaz Show” at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, “The MTV Movie Awards,” Japan’s national figure skating champion Ibuki Mori, and student appearances on CNN, Fox Sports, and others.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Buss grew up dancing at her mother's dance studio. She moved to Los Angeles, California after winning ABC’s “All American Girl” in 1979. From here, she became the dance captain and choreographer for the Los Angeles Rams cheerleaders and traveled the world, including the Super Bowl Special USO Tours with icon Bob Hope.
Additional credits include choreography for “Sunset Beach,” Paul Rodriguez at the Tropicana, The Los Angeles Clippers Dance Captain and Choreographer and the Los Angeles Sparks Choreography Director. Buss also opened the Studio Art of Dance in 1993 which she runs today with over 450 students and three dance companies.
