"Mobile 360⁰" is the Key Take Away of China Connect 2016
PARIS, 22nd April 2016 /PRNewswire/-The uninterrupted growth of mobile adoption has already highlighted mobile as the leading device for reaching Chinese customers. But at China Connect 2016, with theme “Get Mobile”, held in Paris this year from April 6-7, the challenges and opportunities of retail cross-channel strategies, cross-border eCommerce, social CRM and sales conversions, data-driven advertising, all driven by Chinese mobile usages and behaviours like nowhere else in the world, were particularly underlined. The search for (shopping) experiences, through quality content and new technology such as VR, has shown Chinese consumers are on par with their peers in the West. If WeChat is definitely the hot destination for brands, few have yet identified and embraced its numerous features and opportunities.
Highlights of China Connect 2016 included:
An address by former French Prime Minister Jean Pierre Raffarin, who discussed his confidence in China's growth, a new world order, media and internet freedom, and the opportunity for France to develop a partnership with China beyond its borders within a Europe-African space (Click here for the wrap-up 12-minute video). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm0TuO9AsGo
The first public appearance at a European conference of Chinese tech companies LeEco (video streaming, mobile phones, eCommerce, connected vehicles), Ehang (drones) and WeChat International.
Eric MIKA, Senior Vice President of LeEco said: “China Connect provides a platform to understand the complexities and opportunities like no other professional event and it truly connects with experienced experts.”
In attendance at China Connect 2016 were over 40 speakers and 400 attendees, from 15 countries.
