In celebration of National Grilled Cheese Day on April 12, and Grilled Cheese Month throughout the month of April, Kraft Singles has unveiled some of Canada’s cheesiest habits.
We asked approximately 1000 people how they like their grilled cheese, and the results are in. There’s no question that grilled cheese is a national treasure, but Canadians enjoy the ooey gooey melt in different ways.

In some cities, the number of people craving a grilled cheese jumped 17 per cent after only 5 minutes of thinking about it! From April 1st to April 4th, 2016 an online survey was conducted among 998 randomly selected Canadian adults who are Angus Reid Forum panelists. The margin of error—which measures sampling variability—is +/- 3.1%, 19 times out of 20. The results have been statistically weighted according to education, age, gender and region (and in Quebec, language) Census data to ensure a sample representative of the entire adult population of Canada. Six hundred additional Canadians were polled in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Halifax, and Ottawa. The margin of error for each of these regions ranges from +/- 6.4% to +/- 9.0. Discrepancies in or between totals are due to rounding.
