WMS Gaming is
Keeping Players in the Game™
at G2E® 2014
At G2E® 2014, WMS will introduce new player-focused mechanics that differentiate and elevate the gaming experience, new top box enhancements for the Gamefield xD™ cabinet, and showcase new game features for popular themes such as Goldfish®, Zeus™, Reel ‘Em In!® and Life of Luxury®, that address player preferences and current market requirements.
Highlights of new for sale and gaming operations products on display at G2E include:
Extending the Video Game Library
A highlight of the Company's video cabinet offerings at G2E 2014 will be the Blade™ cabinet, currently one of the industry's strongest performing platforms thanks to superior graphics and increased player engagement enabled by its next-generation CPU-NXT®3 operating platform. WMS will demonstrate new for sale games for its expanding video content library, including the Double Buffalo Spirit™, Snow Leopard™, and Sweet Nothings™ themes. Follow-up themes to the player-popular OMG! Kittens™ game – OMG! Puppies™ and OMG! Kittens Safari™ themes – will also make their G2E debut.
Also on display at this year's G2E on the Blade video platform is the Cool Jewels™ theme, which represents the first theme WMS Gaming and Williams Interactive are simultaneously launching for land-based, social and real money wagering.
Blade Stepper Brings Power of Blade Platform to Mechanical Player
The Blade Stepper cabinet is a natural evolution of the proven Blade platform, bringing the classic mechanical reel game experience to the contemporary slot floor with the features stepper players seek – including vibrant mechanical reels that combine seamlessly with HD touch screens and beautiful glass artwork. Among the new Blade Stepper themes premiering at G2E 2014 are The Best Things in Life®, Hearts & Dreams™, and High Speed™Turbo® themes.
Two New Next-Generation Blade Hybrid Slant Cabinets
A key highlight of WMS' appearance at G2E 2014 will be the debut of two new Blade cabinet configurations. The result of WMS' most intensive player research development process ever, the new player-focused hybrid slant Blade cabinets combine a revolutionary advance in technology with an innovative form that falls outside the traditional hardware platforms on casino slot floors today.
The Blade s23 cabinet, a hybrid slant cabinet that combines the key player-favorite features of the Blade cabinet and dual 23” HD displays along with the latest Blade cabinet content. The Blade s23 cabinet offers a captivating bank appearance with dynamic game-driven direct and ambient lighting effects across a broad array of content – including Double Buffalo Spirit™, Eagle Maiden™, and Exotic Butterfly™-themes – designed to further drive player engagement.
The Blade s32 cabinet features dual 32" full HD Metascreen® technology displays and an ergonomically angled Button Panel tablet with a projected capacitive multi-touch screen for improved gameplay integration. This new cabinet will launch with two themes, the Hot Hot 8™ and Dragons over Nanjing™ themes.
First Ever Community Immersion Game on Gamefield xD Platform
The Gamefield xD cabinet continues to be a strong performer for the gaming operations segment of the slot floor and this year WMS is introducing the first ever Community Immersion game for this popular cabinet. Offering never before seen differentiation, the Reel ‘Em In! Super Cast™ theme with wand technology has two Gamefield xD cabinet bases paired with three vertical 46” LCD screens that display a single image.
