Bayer HealthCare Launches Make Your Mark to Inspire Women and Celebrate Their Achievements
Contest forges a unique partnership among three entities committed to women’s empowerment: Bayer HealthCare, Glamour and actress Zosia Mamet
Women who enter the Skyla® Make Your Mark contest may be pursuing artistic expression, seeking knowledge through education or research, trailblazing entrepreneurship, performing daring physical feats or undertaking philanthropic endeavors. The contest seeks to not only celebrate the unique and brave things women are doing, but also to inspire others to follow suit. Women are asked to submit a brief essay and photo or video about how they are making their mark to the contest website at www.glamour.com/make-your-mark. Glamour will review all contest entries for content and substance, and all entries will be judged on the basis of appropriateness to contest themes, relatability, and ability to inspire.
Glamour believes that achieving your aspirations can take on many different forms. From its inception, Glamour has celebrated women who make a difference, big and small. Similarly, Bayer is a champion for inspiring and empowering women. Together, Bayer, Glamour and Zosia Mamet share a commitment to speaking to women honestly, directly and always with optimism.
“We all have stories, and they all deserve to be heard,” said spokeswoman Zosia Mamet. “Glamour, Bayer and I want to give women a platform to share their stories and to show the world how they’re making their mark. We all make our marks in different ways; what’s yours?”
The Skyla® Make Your Mark contest winner will receive a $5,000 grant, a trip to NYC to attend Glamour’s Women of the Year Gala, and may be featured on a promotional page in an upcoming issue of Glamour. Women can enter the contest at www.glamour.com/make-your-mark by submitting their story and a photo or video of how they are making their mark. The contest will run through October 1. Visit www.glamour.com/make-your-mark for more information and to read the full contest rules.
