InComm Expands Vanilla Reload Partner Network
InComm grows partner network; boosts swipe reload locations
InComm’s swipe reload solution has allowed millions of GPR cardholders to add funds to their accounts with a simple swipe of their card, delivering access to the funds. Consumers can more easily, quickly, and securely load funds, while retailers benefit from a simplified sales process. The solution also mitigates inventory management and space allocation for the retailer since customers no longer have to purchase a PIN package.
More partners are now leveraging InComm’s Vanilla Reload network, which enables flexible pricing at retail locations. Participating programs include:
- MasterCard rePower: offers cardholders a low swipe fee of $3.95
- American Express Serve Free Cash Reload Network: leverages InComm’s Vanilla Reload technology
- READYdebit™ Gold: offers cardholders a low swipe fee of $3.95
Today swipe reload-enabled retailers drive 90% of Vanilla Reload’s volume, proof that customers overwhelmingly prefer the convenience of the swipe reload experience. Retailers who offer swipe reload yield 25% more loads from GPR customers.
InComm’s technological advancements and expanded reach are critical as GPR use grows year after year. Previously, GPR cardholders tended to be un- or underbanked consumers. This is no longer the case. According to new research, GPR usage is significantly accelerating among middle and higher income households that have checking accounts. These consumers are seeing multiple benefits of using GPR cards, including easier budget management and security.
“InComm’s swipe reload technology combined with our vast retail reach are making payment experiences easier, faster, and safer for millions of GPR and debit card users,” said Jeff Lewis, Vice President and General Manager, Financial Services, InComm. “Our retail partners provide a more seamless reload experience which helps them take advantage of the boost in foot traffic and drive increased sales of GPR cards. As more consumers employ GPR cards in multiple ways, whether as a bank alternative or a means to better budgeting, we’ll continue to invest in technologies, our retailers and in our partner programs to ensure convenient, efficient, and secure experiences.”
